This video, made by a group of young people from Castropol, Asturias, Spain, with the support of FCA, shows their interest in being part of the CURIE project, as they share the current need to pay attention to the emotional health of young people.

In addition to collaborating in the dissemination of CURIE, they want their contributions to go further, so they have recorded this video in which they explain how they have begun to create a digital tool with which to develop a diagnosis on the emotional well-being of young people.

They want it to be something useful and replicable in another time, territory and country, collecting real data on the “feelings and emotional state of young people”.

Once this data is collected, decision-makers or professionals working with young people in the field of Health, Youth Mental Health and Emotional Intelligence, will be able to act and better meet the needs of emotional support based on the information obtained.

The axis and line on which the questions of this digital questionnaire are elaborated, has been thought and worked by the group of adolescents themselves, being the language and general approach that under their assessment and young point of view, is close to what any adolescent, anonymously, can answer without being rejected. That is, created by young people and aimed at young people with the objective of detecting and improving skills.

The common thread is:
– Recognizing difficult emotions
– Identify and mark their intensity
– Where your emotions take you. How do you act then?

A contribution that is in itself:
– An experiential learning for these rural youth, who sometimes because they live in remote areas feel more vulnerable.
– A great opportunity to be protagonists of their present and future by being able to be an active part of European projects.
– An active incorporation of digitalization as a reality in the lives of young people. By promoting the creation of this digital tool, besides being something very useful and interesting for the CURIE Project, a healthy use of technology in the field of education of emotional skills is promoted.
