On October 23rd, we had the pleasure of meeting on the picturesque island of Crete, hosted by the welcoming Startup Greece organization, which provided the perfect setting for work and exchange of experiences. Crete, especially its western part near the charming city of Chania, dazzles with its natural diversity and cultural richness. Golden beaches, majestic mountains, and breathtaking views create a backdrop that inspires and motivates the work on international projects. Meetings like this one in Crete not only facilitate work on specific tasks but also offer a valuable opportunity to experience different cultures, which is invaluable in the context of building European integration and understanding.
During our meeting on Crete, we focused on reviewing the materials that we had already produced and planning the next stages of our project. We devoted a considerable amount of time to discussions on emotional intelligence — a topic we consider crucial for the development of our participants’ competencies. Emotional intelligence, as the ability to understand and manage one’s own emotions and empathetically respond to the emotions of others, is increasingly valued in education and the workplace. Our materials and workshops aim to develop these skills, which contribute to a better understanding of oneself and others, as well as more effective collaboration.
To conclude our meeting, we finalized the details for the upcoming conference, which will take place in Poland in May 2025. This marks another significant stage in our project, enabling further exchange of experiences and best practices among partners from different countries. The conference will not only summarize our achievements so far but also serve as a platform for planning future activities. The commitment of all partners and their readiness for continued cooperation are promising, allowing us to look optimistically toward the future of our project.
