On the 2nd of November 2024, an event will be held in Narón-Galicia, Spain, that moves the illusion of a change in the 3 fundamental areas of life: education, families and organisations.

There will be different conferences with national leaders who have different approaches to emotional intelligence, a key concept in personal and professional development.

The Spanish CURIE team will attend this event which we hope will be interesting and in which, in addition, it is expected to establish new partnerships and promote knowledge of CURIE among professionals and organizations attending. We will keep you informed and briefly summarise this information of interest.

  1. Elsa Punset:
  • Works and approach: Elsa Punset is a Spanish author and populariser known for her books on emotional intelligence and well-being. In her work “El libro de las pequeñas revoluciones”, she proposes practical exercises to improve emotional intelligence and foster daily happiness.
  • Contributions: Her approach focuses on the practical application of emotional intelligence in everyday life, using simple strategies to manage emotions and improve interpersonal relationships.
  1. Álex Rovira:
  • Works and approach: Álex Rovira is a Spanish writer and lecturer who has addressed emotional intelligence in several of his books, such as “La buena suerte” and “Los siete poderes”.
  • Contributions: Rovira highlights the importance of emotional intelligence in personal and professional success, emphasising how self-awareness and emotional management can positively influence decision-making and opportunity creation.
  1. Anabella Shaked:
  • Works and approach: Anabella Shaked is a psychologist and author specialising in gestalt therapy and emotional education. Her works include therapeutic and educational approaches to developing emotional intelligence.
  • Contributions: Her perspective focuses on the use of gestalt therapy to foster emotional awareness and personal growth, helping people connect with their emotions in a deeper way.
  1. Heike Freire:
  • Works and approach: Heike Freire is an author and expert on free education and nature. She has written about how connecting with nature can influence the development of emotional intelligence in children.
  • Contributions: Freire proposes that contact with nature and outdoor learning are fundamental to healthy emotional development, fostering empathy, resilience and emotional balance.
  1. Laura Adela Fernández Blanco:
  • Works and appoach: Laura Adela Fernández Blanco is known for her work in the field of psychology and emotional intelligence. She has developed programmes and workshops focused on improving emotional intelligence in both adults and children.
  • Contributions: Her focus is on emotional education, working with strategies that help people to recognise, understand and manage their emotions effectively. She has also collaborated in educational projects that integrate emotional intelligence into the school curriculum, promoting healthy emotional development from an early age.
  1. Fabián Villena:
  • Works and approach: Fabián Villena is a speaker and coach who focuses on talent development and emotional intelligence. He has worked on the application of these concepts in business.
  • Contributions: Villena highlights the importance of emotional intelligence in leadership and organisational development, promoting skills such as empathy, effective communication and stress management in the workplace.
  • There will also be team dynamics, practical workshops throughout the day led by international positive discipline coaches (Bibiana Infante, Gigi Núñez, Mónica Carneiro and Nuria Rodríguez Font), and networking and networking stands.
